It's been so long.

It's been so long since I blogged, I almost forgot my password.   Apologies to my loyal blog readers.

  • Lucky that I remembered what my password is and did get in to update my blog.
  • One more blog posting before the end of the year.
  • I thought of something to blog about that may be interesting.
  • I thought of something to blog about that may need posting to record the significance of it happening.
  • I've been busy, but need to admit-also a little lazy and haven't been keeping up with the writing.
  • So here is what is up for December in Livin Life:
CHRISTMAS!!!
So thankful again that there are presents under the tree! We found a few deals that we got while shopping.  A new crock pot was needed in our household and it was on sale. I think everything for Christmas Eve is wrapped!  But I need more tape for the rest of the wrapping and it seems there is always one more present you want to buy!

Here is my view from 'my' spot on the couch.  I realized everything on there is from our parents!  The Holiday White basket is from my Mother-in-law, probably about 20 some years ago. She gave it to us one of our first Christmas's together. And then she also found the Nativity set for us too.  These are taken out and displayed every Christmas!  The Fresh Green arrangement is from my Mom and Sister this year.  It also has a collectible red & white pot underneath.  My Mom is making sure my Red Kitchen collection is growing!!  Love the white dove in the arrangement too!  The Church and the Watch Clock on the wall were made by my Dad.   Peaceful and my camera settings make the left picture lighting look so cozy.  The church is an exact replica from a painting I did in High School!!!  Can you imagine 30 years ago!  I post the next picture so you can see in the background the church steeple.  The picture is still hanging at my parents house, but I think if they downsize, maybe they will give the painting back to me!

And our rain puddles in December!  Not too often do we get rain during this time of year. So I had to document that all the snow is pretty much melted (and we had over a foot from November!) and there are water puddles all over the yard.  The creek in the back is running and the ice melting.

And Birds Chirping like it is Spring!

CHEERS!!
