FUN TIMES!
A warm sunny boat cruise around the lake a few times, plus jumping off and swimming around.
Tried to take fun pictures one night playing darts. We moved our dartboard out to the garage and are getting a lot more use out of it. Here's a sample of what I got. Random shot of the board and wall and no people pictures that turned out...
However you do see chairs in the pictures and I will tell you about them. The red chair by the dartboard is one of 2 metal folding chairs that we got from my Mom & Dad's. My siblings will probably recognize them. They were always black and then have been repainted a few times and this year they are red. I was going to paint them a blueish teal last year and set them in the back yard, but didn't get to buy the paint. So Red it is this year.
The White Wicker chair is a special buy for my Mom's Birthday present. I saw it for sale and bought it a month before her birthday party, so it sat in the garage for awhile. She even stopped over one day and commented "nice chair" after seeing it in the garage. I made a cushion for it in her favorite colors blue and yellow, then my hubby touched it up with spray paint. It comes off the rockers easily, but when it is adjusted is pretty comfy. Almost kept it for myself, but she has it now.
No neighbor sitting in the green chair but we have some pockets for drinks in these chairs! We use these folding lawn chairs for camping, at the back yard campfires, sitting in the garage, sitting outside the garage, on the front lawn and sometimes on the deck when it is early spring and the deck table set isn't out there yet or it has rained and the deck chair cushions are wet.
Sometimes maybe its just as well the pictures don't turn out. I haven't had a selfie turn out decent lately. But will update with a new picture soon.
Garden update: We had to put a netting fence around our garden. The deer were having a feast every night and going around to all the neighbors too. Here are a few Mid summer pictures. You can see the tops bit off of the beans and tomato plants. At least they didn't eat the Lily flowers!
PS this post was supposed to be in July, but finally got it posted today!!! We have been enjoying beans, pea pods, lettuce and starting to get ripe peppers and tomatoes!
:) LOL on the chairs but no people pictures! And those pesky garden varmints.... Argh.
